That's a sweet piece of code, thank you! I was doing some research in DAVAdapters when this came out.   

 Ok, finally there's the concluison to all of this: The xml node corresponding to a section in a new form has no children nodes, so the controls that bind to such nodes remain as read only. I've tried defining a default value for those controls, but no joy so far.  Guess, I'll have to forget about using sections.
