  • Re: QDABRA Install with SQL Express

Hi Bob,  You should be able to access your SQL Server Express settings with this: SQL Management Studio Express You probably need to give SQL Server admin permissions to the ASPNET account.

  • Re: Hyperlink to file in InfoPath 2003

Hello,  Did you ever resolve this issue?  I just figured out there is a rather simple solution if you are willing to use a button instead of a hyperlink and add a small bit of code.  Add a button to the form, and in its properties, click Edit Form Code...  Then add the following code (I'm providing versions for two ...

  • Re: Hyperlink to file in InfoPath 2003

Hello again,  I'm glad that my information helped a little, but unfortunately it may lead to a dead end.  I'm very new to InfoPath myself and am afraid I can't be a lot of help. After your most recent post, I toyed around with hyperlinks in InfoPath myself, and had basically the same results as you, even when the file: ...

  • Re: Hyperlink to file in InfoPath 2003

It seems the most friendly syntax for a file: URL to a file on a network drive would be something like this: file://///server/share/folder/etc/file.doc That's five forward slashes after file:, and all the other slashes are forward slashes as well. Please give that a try if you have not already resolved the issue.     As for your ...

  • Re: I0033: Access denied

We just happened to be in the same cafe at the same time.  I didn't know who he was until I met him, of course. :-)   So as it turns out, the SQL Management Studio was a separate free download so I downloaded and installed it.  However, even after I give ASPNET all of the role memberships available (except ...

Ok, that's cool.  Maybe I will set up a meeting with you guys sometime soon in that case.  Actually the reason I'm here is that I'm a programmer and I met Mr. Halstead by chance while he was passing through my town a few days ago.  I'm hoping to do some coding for your team, but I don't have any experience ...

  • Re: I0033: Access denied

Ok, that sounds simple enough.  I will try that when I get home.  Sorry for all these basic questions, but I'm still getting my footing with all these unfamiliar software packages.  Since I am in Japan and work 8-4, it would be very difficult to arrange an online meeting, but with any luck, I'll have the program up ...

  • I0033: Access denied

Hello again, So I finished installing DBXL, and am working through the Getting Started tutorial (QdabraWebService/Docs/GettingStarted.htm). I have reached Task 2: step 2.e (Click Save.), but when I click Save in the DBXL Admin Tool, I get a Message Box with the message "I0033: Access denied." I still have the ASPNET user in the ...
