  • Re: InfoPath and Outlook Integration - Can't set Body correctly

Hi Patrick, Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it was set up that way previously, however they wanted the ability to attach files to the email as it was being sent. I actually ended up figuring it out! When using the mailitem, there's a property called HTMLBody. So when I did mailitem.HTMLBody = RichTextBox it created my email with perfect ...

  • InfoPath and Outlook Integration - Can't set Body correctly

I'm working with IP2010 (rich client) and I have a need to open Outlook prior to sending an email. I have a view that mimics a new email message like in Outlook and it has fields for To, CC, Subject and Body. My Body field is a rich text box that I'm populating based on an XML file (I have email templates that set what shows up in the body ...

  • GetUserProfilebyName webservice and Chrome

I'm having an issue with a web based form when using a non-IE web browser. My IP web based form works correctly when I open the form with Internet Explorer, however, when using Chrome I get an error saying IP cannot connect to a data source. If I look in the logs, I'll see a 401: Unauthorized error. Usually this involves the double hop ...

  • Re: Another Button Control Opening a Web Page Question

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, the file is available via SharePoint. What I don't understand is that when I test this using the IP client (debugging through VSTO) it runs fine, but once it's published to SharePoint it stops working. I've tried placing the file in a file share on the network as well as on the C drive of the ...

  • Another Button Control Opening a Web Page Question

I looked through Almeida's post about using a button to open a web page however that solution is not working for me. My IP form is being hosted on a SharePoint 2007 Forms Server. I have a button on my IP form that uses rules and custom code. When the button is pressed the form should: 1) update a field in the XML and 2) open a PDF file ...

  • Re: Email submit format

Thanks for the suggestion Clay. Unfortunately, that option is not viable as the email is going to someone outside the company, so they would be unable to view the form via hyperlink. Instead I created an XSL template to transform the XML from InfoPath into an HTML form. I was just hoping that I wouldn't have to do this every time. Thanks ...

  • Email submit format

Hi everyone. My question is about formatting options when submitting a form via email. I am using MOSS 2007 with a browser enabled form, then when the user clicks on a Submit button, the form will 1) email the form to an email specified on the form and 2) submit to a sharepoint library. I have this working, however, the format of the email is not ...

  • Email data connections - file attachment control

I'm building a form that gives users the ability to add multiple files via the file attachment control in a repeating section (it's a form for an insurance company that allows users to upload images of damaged vehicles, etc.). They need the ability email the form to users(s) which is working correctly. However, what I'd like to do is ...

  • Re: "Send to mail recipient" using VBScript

I tried doing as you suggested, however, the file I've attached only appears in the body of the email, I can't actually view the attached file. I'm using InfoPath 2007 and Forms Services 2007 and trying to do something similar here. I want to have a repeating section with a file attachment control so a user can attach multiple files ...
