  • Re: Simple Code to Add Row

Hi Mel, Thanks for your response, however, my post asking for help on that issue was resolved in line with your url pointing me to the blog.  My recent post (a little further down the list) included the following: May I impose a little further? Now that I am driving Infopath 2010 and have switched from Java Script to Visual Basic, I feel ...

  • Re: Simple Code to Add Row

Whilst I appreciate being made aware of helpful software (at a price) which bypasses the need for code, one would have to question the ethics of a forum which is reduced to a software advertising platform.  Maybe a column on the right showing sponsored links or a reply (amongst helpful code examples) with a link (for my information etc.) to ...

  • Re: Simple Code to Add Row

May I impose a little further? Now that I am driving Infopath 2010 and have switched from Java Script to Visual Basic, I feel like I am learning everything from scratch. Firstly, I need the equivalent of the following in VB (Infopath 2007 compatible): XDocument.UI.Alert("BlaBlaBla") Note: I have not been able to call ...

  • Re: Simple Code to Add Row

Hi Hilary, I have been out of the loop for quite some time, however, I'm am back on some infopath projects, but now I have to learn to reapply snippets using vbscript (given that infopath 2010 has made a sharp turn on scripting options).  May I trouble you to give me the equivalent vbcode for the following Jscript to add a blank row to a ...

  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

Under the programming option, you have to choose the new code you intend to use.  At this point the old code will be removed from the form.  The suggestion is that you copy the code to a notepad (or wordpad) file before you modify the form, then use the copy of the code as your guide to rewrite in the managed code format (of course ...

  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

Hi Dipesh, I can confirm that infopath 2010 only works with managed script (C# or visual basic) no more vbscript or jscript. Regards - Phil

  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

Greetings! I have just installed infopath 2010 (by upgrade from 2007) on a windows 7 64 bit machine and both the .net programmability features and the visual studio features within the installation options were marked with a red cross as 'not available'.  I proceeded with the install (Office 2010) only to find that the custom ...

  • Re: Removing Signature Groups

Hey Macrel, Great post.  This fixes the problem, however, my oroginal post was a long time ago and I had moved on.  It's a shame that posts lie unanswered and dormant for so long without the forum overseers attending to them.
