I was having the same problem, until I downloaded & installed InfoPath Service Pack 1 (I am using InfoPath 2003.) Hopefully this helps you.

Any suggestions or work arounds for long text fields. I have 3 fields requiring field type of ''MEMO'' in Access. Unfortunately InfoPath 2003 doesn't support long text fields. Does any one have a suggests or work arounds for this problem? Thanks
