  • Re: SharePoint collaboration

The SharePoint is online. "Open in app" works for Word also, and solves the problem. Thanks

  • Digital Signatures in Browser Enabled

The users of my Infopath forms would like the ability to digitally sign their completed forms. They fill out the form in the field using browsers. I see conflicting information about whether and what type of digital signatures are possible in browser forms. I hope to avoid going down any rabbit holes that will just be a wild goose chase. Is ...

  • SharePoint collaboration

This question is actually about SharePoint, but the answer could involve infoPath. Our team want to collaborate on the documentation for using our infoPath files. We need a Word doc that we can all work on. Our infoPath and SharePoint are part of office 365 Online. I find that creating a word doc in the SharePoint site's Documents (which uses ...

  • Re: Blank rectangles on forms

When I follow your directions I can get the borders up to 6. The text box solution gives me more versatility including colors control, so I'll stick with it. Thanks

  • Re: Blank rectangles on forms

6 looks plenty wide, from your example. I should be able to just select one or more table cells, right click and choose 'borders and shading' and choose the wide (6) line type - right? It is not budging. For my first form I used text boxes all set to the same dummy field. Once one is done it can quickly be pasted it over all the ...

  • Blank rectangles on forms

I need one view of each form for engineers to print and fill out by hand. These are in case they get to a site without their computer or a good connection. I need a good way to put blank white rectangles where the controls would be. Text boxes would work, but then I'd get a million warnings about non-bound text boxes. What might be even better ...

  • Re: Copy and Paste between views.

Beautiful! That enabled pasting multiple rows, densely full of controls. You just made my life much easier! One caveat: for it to work right, I had to set all the padding on the receiving cell to zero. Thanks

  • Copy and Paste between views.

Are there any tricks to facilitate copying and pasting parts of a form between views? Copying a whole view and pasting it into another view generally works (although background colors in the controls may fade). But I am unable to move a few rows from one view into another. If I get changes demanded from the field, I implement them in the 'new ...

  • Re: populating a list with outside data

Yes our posts did cross. I see that I am able to populate fields from the top repeating row without isolating the row. It looks like I'm on my way. I learned a lot today. Thanks, gran

  • Re: populating a list with outside data

It looks like I can set a query field, query the DS2 and then set a different query field and query again - further refining the data. So after getting the Site-A records set DS2 query field "ID" to DS2 data field max(ID), getting the latest of the site-A entrees - does that sound right?
