• Re: Infopath and Internet Fax Capabilities

http://www.venali.com/solutions/print_to_fax.php Here is one I found. I think you would just need to research the ones you mention and see if they have a print driver or "print to fax" method such as this. InfoPath documents cannot be printed since the document is just the XML. The template is what has how to render it and make ...

  • Re: Pulling the date of a digital Signature and putting in a text box or form library column

Just have a rule on the control that sets a field action and put now() into another field for storing the timestamp. Then this can be promoted to SharePoint when it is saved.

  • Re: Infopath and Internet Fax Capabilities

This can be done but it is difficult and takes a lot of setup. I would look at a print to fax virtual printer. You would just need to add the phone number, or there may be a way to pass the information, but that gets it into a printable format the easiest and with the least amount of hassle.

  • Re: New to InfoPath coding

My advice is make it easy on yourself and do not code anything. Of all the InfoPath forms I have seen, less than 5% needed coding. InfoPath has all of the functionality you need already built into the designer and can be configured without any code. If you understand logic and flow you have everything you need and can save your self a ton ...

  • Re: Validating that the Current user is the person who signed tha form

When they "sign" the form just save the username in another field in the data source. Then you can compare the form user with the one saved to know if the signer is the one with the form open and permit them to update it or whatever..

  • Re: InfoPath Secondary Submit

First you need to make the button a rules type by changing the drop down in properties. Also I believe if you add a button it is a rules type by default. Then you can add a rule called Submit. And add an action which is a submit to data connection and pick the first data connection you want. Then add a second action which is a submit to data ...

  • Re: Picture Button Control Question.

Hi Vickie. Buttons do not print. However, best practice is to vreate a seperate view for printing anyway. Typically views optimized for the screen do not print well. So create a new view called print Go into the view properties of the view you want to print from and set the new view to be the view to print Highlight all of the ...

  • Re: Infopath form published to sharepoint....

To clear the cache is what I described. Open InfoPath and you should get a window with recently used forms, etc. Highlight the template in question and over on the right task list use the Remove this form selection. Then try reopening the form and it should go out and get the latest version.
