How complex are the cost estimates you are putting together? Certainly InfoPath can do calcuations on input fields and secondary data sources etc and put this on your form.
But in general I think you will find that InfoPath is much much better suited to the data collection part than Excel is but that Excel is still going to be better suited for ...

This could be a bug with InfoPath but I think it's more likely that there is some some confusion between ''design a form'' and ''filling out a form''?
dlgross: when you say they print with print preview and when you print as well, is that when you are designing the form or actually using the form (filling it out as a user would)

Hi Larry,
I replied to your email and attached the sample IP form I worked on to figure this out. I was using a seperate text box (you could also use the expression box if you want) for each check box on the first view, so I didn't have a problem with it not displaying on seperate lines.
Hope that helps

Introducing Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 - Roger Jennings
I am sure many of the others do on the ...

Hi Larry,
Are you using a single form with multiple views? You can do this pretty easily with a single form and multiple views. The inital page your user would open would be the first view of the form where they would select their diagnoses. Then, when they have made all their selections, they would click on a submit button that would open a ...

What is the source of the data coming in with the date/time stamp? It looks like it's an Access query based upon your xpath, is that correct?
Have you tried to change that data source to be date only and not date/time? Just a thought.

Hi Jaredhanks,
Just to clarify, are you saying that you don't want the actual InfoPath form that the user/hiring manager has filled out to be attached to the email? The email that InfoPath sends is simple email with just a little bit of customization available (at least what is easily available through the wizard in InfoPath).
The only things ...

Hi JimDandy,
Yes you can do what you need to do with InfoPath. Here is a good ''how to'' from Greg Collins that should get you started on how you can do this:
