I have been trying to teach myself about web services
I have read several articles on the MSDN website about creating a web service using vs2003, however i am using vs2005 and have not been able to try any of it
Does anyone know where I can find basic info on web services and vs2005?

a ''repeating section'' will allow multiple records to be displayed
You can also add what ever formatting you want
-
By default the 3 sections will be included with no-data
Click tools, form option, edit default values, then untick each of the repeating sections
The repeating sections will not be added to your database unless they are added while form is being filled in

Yeah I had that error until I installed .net framework 2
If you already have .net 2 installed then uninstall it and reinstall it like Matt suggested
I would download a fresh copy of .net 2 from microsoft, there have been lots of beta's being passed around which dont work with final version of vs2005

As mbenbow has explained the address is
<address of webpage>\forms\<template name>
-
Yes it is possible
You didnt say which bit your stuck on?
I have always struggled getting info from sharepoint lists but it is possible, hopefully someone else will help you with this bit
To submit the form to a sharepoint using a field as the file name is alot easier, click tools, data connection, add, choose submit data, and then continue ...

rich text format does not work with SQL server, you need a web service to sort formatting from text, or something like that
paragraph breaks work in varchar fields (SQL) and simple text fields (infopath)
i assume mdb is similar
-
Have you set field in infopath to allow paragraph breaks?
By default they are not allowed
To check, double click the control, click display, tick allow paragraph breaks
I know this works with SQL server and varchar fields, I have never used mdb or rich text format
