• Re: Risk Analysis - Best Practice help / ideas

Hilary - Thanks for the help. Here's the thing. I think I've found out what the problem is? This doesn't seem to work with dropdown list boxes that retrieve data from a secondary data connection? As a test, I've recreated this data connection to use two repeating tables, both having two columns, title & score. Ive then ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables with default values

HIlary, Its a form filler form! You do have me wondering about somethings though! I have some guys who might save a copy of the form locally while they collect more data to fill out on the form. I'm wondering if they've used a slightly older copy of the template and before I made the up-dates. This is possible. Even though the created ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables with default values

Not sure if the pictures are being seen? basically, the repeating when it works correctly, shows 3 or 4 lines, repeated but with different values and text as per setup in the default values area, selecting the first field line and adding another line below and so on... this works fine for some forms but other I just get a repeat, 3 or 4 ...

  • Repeating Tables with default values

Hi, Me again.. This time I'm confused what and why this is happening. I've setup a repeating table and given it 3 or 4 default lines, each with a checkbox and a textbox for a title. It seems on some of the forms this work fine.. and some don't (See section screenshot) Anybody, any ...

LOL - Hilary, I really didn't mean it as a challenge...:-) Your a Rock Star! this is exactly what I'm looking for. Think I should take some xml lessons, they look so easy script and really quite effective. I don't know what goes on in my head but I just become blank with a blank sheet of paper with xml. As always - Perfect ...

  • Re: Risk Analysis - Best Practice help / ideas

Hello Hilary, Sorry I also forgot about this post... I kinda got around it with using rules. Turned out I only needed about 9 lines of rules, not great and doesn't look quite as professional but it works, just about. I have no idea how to create xml files so unless you could give me a little example and one that takes you no longer than ...

  • Re: Multiple-Selection list box - Need help

Hilary, I never did find the answer to this - So I recreated the repeating table and re-inserted each dropdown and list boxes and all works fine again. It wasn't actually that bad for me to do this - There was definitely some rule(s) somewhere changing these values to zero or blank, but could I find it? NO! Anyhow, we're ...
