 My bad I typed the URL incorrectly HERE but did type it correctly in my SOAP call  http://oursharepointsitecollection/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx?WSDL  so that's not the issue.

 HI Hilary I didn't even get that far. It errored while trying to connect to the SOAP service.
