  • Form publishes in SP2010, but not SP2016

I have a large form (about 70 views) which has been successfully publishing in SP2010 for the past 5 years (using InfoPath 2013).  It takes about 60 minutes to publish, and the form opens correctly in the browser.  When trying to publish in SP2016, the publishing stops about 15 minutes in with the error ...

  • Trying to query when library is over 5000 items

I have a library that is over 5000 items and cannot be reduced or split up.  I've set up an index in SharePoint by Created Date which allows me to view the list without seeing a LVT message.  The problem is that I have a button on the form with a rule to query this library.   When the button is ...

  • Association columns in reusable workflows

I'm having difficulty getting the fields from my InfoPath 2010 form to show up as association columns for a reusable workflow in SharePoint Designer. I've tried first creating the column in the form library, then promoting the same field when publishing to the form library. I've also repeated the same steps, but publishing as a ...

  • Re: InfoPath form over 1700kb is no longer publishing

We were finally able to publish without an Admin approved xsn. The xsn was only 898kb (with over 70 views and 4200 rules), but the 64 encoding is converting the size to more than 50mb after decompression (this was discovered by a co-worker). He suggested to increase the Maximum upload size from 50mb to 100mb in the Web Application General ...

Actually, I was able to publish it as an admin approved form. Does that give any clues?

  • Re: InfoPath form over 1700kb is no longer publishing

Deleting all the picture buttons let me publish, but the error came back when I added two more views. The Export Source File is showing a total of 225 files. I keep running into this mystery max limit. Can you think of anything else? I think I've tried just about everything. Thanks again

  • Re: InfoPath form over 1700kb is no longer publishing

Hi Patrick, thanks for the tips! So here are the file sizes that I'm working with....XSN 900kb, total export source 11.3mb, manifest.xsf 3200kb. Most of the large views/xls (about 60 of them) are about 125kb. They all used the same image that is 12kb. I only have a few very small XML data sources, everything else is data connections to ...

HI Hilary, I just came across these logs.  I the biggest thing I spotted was  "Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: The specified file is larger than the maximum supported file size".  Can you spot anything else in this log that may help? Thanks again    Conversion and Deployment     ...

  • Re: InfoPath form over 1700kb is no longer publishing

Hi Hilary, thanks again for your help. We didn't end up see anything strange in the log files. When I removed a good handful of those picture buttons everything seem to go back to normal with publishing. But then after a couple views new views, I was right back to that same error message. So I deleted more picture buttons , and then it ...

  • Re: InfoPath form over 1700kb is no longer publishing

Hi Hilary,  Thanks for your quick reply.  There is no code in the form and I don't believe I'm allowed install Fiddler on this computer.  The only Design Checker errors are "Can't verify form on server" and "Data connections contain parameterized queries"  I've had these warnings before ...
