• Re: connection between two web service client

Hi Shamim, Welcome to the board! You should be able to access both Web services if you use a secondary data source and write some code. I believe the main data can only be bound to a single Web service, so you're best off defining your submit web service as a secondary data sources (Tools-Data Connections) and writing some code to control the ...

  • Re: 2 repeating tables side by side?

I think I need more details about your problem, but I'll try to respond anyway. You could reate a table with two cells (side-by-side) and insert a repeating table in each one of these cells. Assuming the repeating table had the same number of rows and row-widths, they should line up.

  • Re: Repeating columns in a repeating table

Displaying a variable number of columns is tricky because of screen resolution and display widths. Just imagine if you had 20 events. Can you display these as rows in a repeating table underneath the Item and Description row? In general, what you want to do is define the cells and then set conditional visibility depending on how many events are ...

  • Re: full trust security

In the Designer, go to Tools->Form Options->Security. Deselect Automatic and select Full Trust. You'll have to either sign the form or run regform to create an msi. To sign the form, create a digital signature on the same dialog and attach it. To run regform, download the InfoPath SDK and type regform -? for instructions.

  • Re: Please help

You'll need to do this in code using custom logic. It's not hard, and should only take 5-6 hours. Send me email at Patrick.Halstead at AutonomySystems.com if you'd like us to look at your solution.

  • Re: Form Locations

You need to change the form to be URN-based instead of URL-based. Two ways to do this: 1. Create your form and send as an attachment. This automatically strips the URL out and is much easier than: 2. Publish as URN-based and copy around. Create a form and when you go to publish, choose ''save to a shared folder'' on the first screen of the ...

  • Re: Export to Excel Issue

You can write code to automate Excel, Or, import the XML from within Excel, Or, make the secondary data part of your main DOM! Excel has some good XML support in 2003. You can specify a binding and load the xml saved by InfoPath into Excel separately (from Excel). There are some limitations - for example, Excel won't deal with rich text nodes nor ...

  • Re: When is a default view not a default view?

quote:Originally posted by jonbrave OK, I'm starting to look into this. Can I *please* have an answer first off to a very simple question: is ''Default View'' taken into account when previewing from *design* mode? As you now know, it isn't. The designer opens whichever view you are on when you preview.
