Hello Patrick,
I tried your solution without success. Export continues as columns. Cannot make rows in pivot table resulting in laddered rows and so unworkable.
I have seven sections or choice sections. Each of these contains several questions. I have tried question column and answer column. I even tried drop-downs with answer and question ...

I have created a form with many questions. For each question have corresponding answer field, drop down, Yes, No, NA.
When export to Excel questions are headers, unfortunately, some questions are long making for unwieldy column headers.
Would like question to be rows, not headers. How can I design form to obtain this layout when export ...

I created a SharePoint list featuring an InfoPath form with seven views--effectively seven forms. Currently, when viewing an entry the default form displayed is the InfoPath default view form. Unfortunately it confounds users expecting to see the form they filled out when not the default form. As well because it is the default form, ...

Thank you for the help. Reading your reply I realize I left out some key information: 1) Am using InfoPath 2007, 2) Am going to publish my form to an internal SharePoint document library, 3) Am using both a field for the user to enter the name of the file they are attaching and 4) Have done as you say and restricted allowable file type in the ...
