oh, we have 2.6 I think, but definitely not 2.9. Let me upgrade and see if that fixes it. I assume that once I update the template.xsn to have the correct File Name value, the import tool will import with the correct file name?

Hello I'm trying to sync a current InfoPath library with DBXL. Below are the steps I followed, but had an issue:
1) Created a new Document Type
2) I updated the XSN template to submit to DBXL instead of the SharePoint library and uploaded to DBXL through the DAT tool.
3) Mapped the new Document Type to the SharePoint Library

Thanks. I updated the XSN template to submit to DBXL instead of the SharePoint library and uploaded to DBXL through the DAT tool. Next I copied the XML files from the SharePoint Library and then uploaded via the DBXL Migration Tool. That was successful.
But this creates duplicate files with the DBXL DocID number as the filename in the ...

Can you confirm the below are the correct steps or if there is a easier/better way?
1. Export all docs using Document Deployer
2. Delete all XML infopath files from InfoPath Library
3. Create Document Type in DAT
4. Using Document Deployer, import all previously exported docs

Where can I find instructions on how to sync current forms in an InfoPath library with DBXL to enable querying with the QueryDocumentsNodeSet method?

Fortunately it's a new form template. But thanks for this comment as it will be handy for currently deployed forms. I think I will go this route. I was hoping for DBXL to be able to read the schema of the template and return a dataset.
