Hi all, I have a few external item picker controls which I need to set certain action rules on.  However, "action" is disabled under rules when the picker controls are selected; I can only do formatting rules. If I have fields A and B, I need to set value of B based on value of A (picker control).  Then, I set value of A ...

It is database bound; that validation is certainly a good thing!  Just exploring some different options because the number of records we're working with originally exceeds 2,000. Thank you very much for your input!  I'm going to have to skip mashing data types together. AKH

Trying to allow date picker and currency controls to accept text values as well.  For example, user could set a control to "null", triggering a drop-down list of reasons why he does not have the information.  These values get pushed back to a database.  Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
