  • Re: Sending form to different emails based on field selection

You should first setup a data connection for each email address you want to have the form routed.  You would then create action rules based on the conditions required.   I've attached a basic template which should help figure out how to create the data connections and build the necessary rules.   Mike

I have a form that is routed to be worked based on the geographic location of the employee submitting the form.  There are six territories for the purpose of routing the forms and more than six hundred buildings that are serviced by Desktop Support and Telecom Support employees.  I created an xml file and saved it to our SharePoint with ...

  • Re: Data Connection efficiency

Ted, thanks for the reply. I will look into DBXL and QRules as a solution.  I will not have Office 2010 avialable until October 2011 at the earliest.  I will see if I can convince my employer to make the purchase at that time.

  • Data Connection efficiency

Although I have been playing around with InfoPath for a few years I have not dealt with creating secondary data connections using SharePoint or Access. My form currently uses an xml file as a secondary data source which is included in the template.  I am dealing with asset records from Peregrine Asset Center and will be shortly migrating ...
