  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

Clayton, Once again, your advice is simply invaluable!  We checked the form and the only missing data was in a repeating field....  so, we re-applied the 'old' form template back to the library and all seems well again. We've simply created a new library, published the new form to it and put a workflow behind it...  we ...

Clayton,   I forgot to add, the data that is 'missing' might be due to the fact that some of the fields on my new form now exist in a repeating table....  they didn't on the old form. I've just noticed this now....  but still unsure how to get the data to show on all of the current/approved forms. I've tested ...

Hi Clayton, Help required - if possible!!  I've amended my Purchase Request form with some new features and have been using it in a 'test library' for a few weeks whilst testing with colleagues. Today, I've amended the data connections so I can update the curernt Infopath form on the 'live libary' with this new ...

Hi Clayton, Thank you for the reply!  :) Can I ask, am I able to use this web service in WSS?  I forgot to mention that we don't run MOSS on our system, only WSS V3.0 for the moment. Also, as I'm not using much code on my form (I'm not that good with code!) where would I put this code on my form?  I can attach my ...

  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

Hello Warrtalon, I'm wondering if you can help me with a query.  We have a Purchase Request form, designed in IP2010 and using SPD2007 for the workflow.  Everything is fine and the forms are being raised and authorised without issue. However, I've been asked to design a replacement form with some new features, some of which are ...

  • Re: How can I Disable/Hide a control based on the user??

Karsten, Excellent - why didn't I think of that!  I already use the username() function on one of my fields, plus I have another box (hidden) at the bottom which gives the same info, but it changes as it also changes other fields on the form, depending on which user opens the form. So, I've created the rule and it seems to work fine ...

  • How can I Disable/Hide a control based on the user??

Hi all, On my Purchase Req form, the management team have requested that my approval control (drop down list) be hidden/disabled from a user IF that user has created the form originally. In other words, they don't wish users to raise AND approve their own forms.  So, if manager Steve raises his form, he shouldn't be ...

  • Maximum number of workflows

Hi all, On my WSS site I have a Purchase Requisition form that users can open, fill out and then submit.  The system itself is working fine, with forms being submitted and approved all the time. However, someone advised me a few weeks ago that you can only have 15 items running in a library and against a workflow at any given ...
