• Re: Automatically open up drop down
It might be possible with code, but I'm not sure. And I've never done this with InfoPath. If they want the items to show, why not use a list box instead?
Hi Hmmm... They might just accept the ListBox control instead. I'll have to ask them after the Easter ...

  • Re: Limit the number of decimals a user can enter

Hi Thanks for the idea - it won't help me though. The requirement is simply not allow the user to enter the third decimal and not provide an error if she should do so. I don't think it is doable... Thanks

  • Re: Limit the number of decimals a user can enter
Sorry I'm a little confused when you said "I need the data source to only contain two decimals and not just the view of the datasource". The value of your text box in the view should be the same thing stored as value in your data source, no?
Hi, and thank you for ...

  • Automatically open up drop down

Hi Using InfoPath 2007 on Forms serrver 2007. I have a button. When the cutton is clicked, a web service is called which returns a number of items. I have a drop down control that gets it's values from the response-datasource of the web service. This works fine, but my customer would like that the drop down automatically opens up after the ...

  • Limit the number of decimals a user can enter

Hi all  InfoPath 2007 running on Forms Server 2007. I know how to use the formatting options of a TextBox in order to only show for instance 2 decimals. But I need the data source to only contain two decimals and not just the view of the datasource. I can then use the function "round" in a rule to round to two decimals, but my ...

  • Re: Make the field Read Only after the e-mail is sent to the recipient

Hi Instead of checking the user that logs in, which might change later on, I'd add a field (Boolean) to the data source called "ReadOnly" with a default value of false. In the rule that sends the email, set this field to "true". In the form open rule, add a rule that will switch view to a read only view if the ReadOnly ...

  • NaN after rounding

Hi all Using InfoPath 2007 on Forms Server 2007. I have a data source field which is a double. I have a textbox, in which users can enter a value, and I have a rule that basically does this: ". = round(. * 10) div 10" - so basically, I multiply the value by 10, round it and divide by ten, så I am sure I only have one digit after the ...

  • Re: Infopath 2007: Auto calculate 3mths from another date field

Hi Could you be specific about the algorithm you want to implement? What do you expect to happen if you add 3 months to November 30'th 2010 ? Which date should that end up at when adding three months? February 29'th 2011? March 2'nd 2011? Thanks

  • Re: Help - Change validation error message

Hi Normally I go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\INC\<languagenumber>\IntlCoreStrings.js to change error messages, but this one doesn't seem to appear there. I am afraid you are out of luck. If you find a solution, please share it :)
