Solution:
I found solution. Double Click on control in repeating table. Set rules. Set your flag variable to "1" (to whatever u want). This flag will set when anything on this control or to all instance of this control in repeating table get updates.

I tried it, trimming only apply to first item and not all items in dropdown. I wrote rules when form loads. Pls. advice further.
