Hi,
I need to implement an SLA system using InfoPath browser-form. Basically I'm building a simple Helpdesk system driven by data stored in SharePoint lists.
So based on a predefined Priority an SLA in days would be assigned to a form and if it breaches this SLA then it should be escalated via Workflow.
Anyone built anything ...

Hi,
I have a browser-enabled form that I developed in InfoPath 2007.
On the form I have set up a button that if pressed must force the user to enter a value in a new row of my repeating table (I'm basically asking a user to provide a reason why they are doing something).

In my InfoPath form template I have a number of groups. I would like to to map relevant Excel columns to fields located in these groups. I specified one like this in my AppsMapping.xml file, but when I upload the forms they don't work.

Would appreciate greatly a working ...

Can't get Jo-Anne's example to work :(((( Besides I think it's not going to work for web-based forms anyway.
I'm at a point where I think to give up on using InfoPath for this, cause it seems too hard.

Patrick,
Thank for your suggestions.I guess I don't have to keep the tasks and their completion details in one (input) list - i.e. the input can contain just the task desc, student name and due date, and my form will copy this and add completion details.
I'm happy to purchase qRules if it saves me time. I'll try to figure it out ...

Thanks for this clarification.
1 student has multiple tasks assigned to him/her. I will pre-create individual forms for each student, and provide a direct link to each student so they can only update their own tasks. That's my main requirement - being able to pre-create these forms and have students being able to update only their tasks ...
