This is old outed post but in case someone (like our company) is still using the older SharePoint and InfoPath 2007 technology and encounters this issue it could be because they don't have InfoPath 2007 installed on their machine.  This would be the case if Microsoft Office 2016 (or newer) is a fresh install on a new machine vs. ...

 I solved this by making the form full trust. I might add something that infopathdev does not recommend.  Use at your own risk. :)

 As follow up, my issue resolved itself - just noticed this week that all InfoPath forms calendar icons are back to normal now.  Not sure when but likely a Microsoft update fixed the problem at some point.

 I solved the problem apparently it had nothing to do with InfoPath.  I downloaded the current HP printer driver from HP and installed it on local user's machine and it's now printing InfoPath forms!
