• Switching between form views

Hi, I have a form with multiple views which I wish to dynamically change as the form is sent from person to person. I would not like the users to be able to toggle the form views under the "Views" menu. This can be done by changing the settings on "View properties" and unchecking the box that says, "Show on view ...

  • Re: Error with form code when there are no form codes?

But I've always been on IP 2007 (and no problems) and this is the first time I see this error and it was right before I added some code. Yes, using the download option works... I am very depressed because I spent 2 days trying to solve this... But thankfully I finally gave up and posted my error here. Thanks alot Jimmy for your fast reply! ...

  • Re: Reset form on submit using Visual Basic coding

Hi, Your first suggestion won't be good for my users. They would want to know exactly where the error is, ie, which field they keyed incorrectly. lf I were to put the error on submit, they would have to scroll and find the field. I'll get stick for this :( For your second suggestion, how do you remove a reference? Are you suggesting: ...

  • Re: Reset form on submit using Visual Basic coding

Hi, I suppose your "my:Field1" refers to all my individual mandatory fields? Meaning if I have 10 such fields, I must individually setvalue to "" right? I tried for one field and it works. Just wondering if I am doing it right or doing it the long way. Thanks again for your greatly appreciated help!

Hi, Thanks! There are no compile errors now but when I try the button, a Null exception error is reported. The modified form is as attached. Am I still doing something wrong?

  • Re: Reset form on submit using jscript?

Hi, Sorry, I can't attach the original form as it contains sensitive information. How about I attach this clean form? I am trying to create a reset button with the button. However, through this, I realized that your code is for VB script while my form is in Visual Basic code :( Sorry for giving you wrong info previously.
