  • Re: Infopath cannot create new blank form...

Thanks for the tips. I tried both, but that still did not fix the problem. Works if the program is "run as" administrator, or if administrator is logged in. More details, System: Windows XP sp3, IE8, InfoPath 2003 What else can I do?

  • Infopath cannot create new blank form...

One of our computer, out of about 80 or so, is giving this error: "Infopath cannot create a new, blank form. Infopath cannot open the form.  To fix this problem, contact your system administrator." When I click on details it says: http://*servername*/qdabrawebservice/forms/omc_synopsis/template.xsn Generally I see more ...

Sorry, we have not found a way to get InfoPath 2003 working in Windows 7. Hope you can get it to work! Post back here if you do.

  • Re: Infopath 2003 and Windows 7 pro

Not sure how many Windows 7 users there are on these forums, but I would still like to be able to use InfoPath 2003 on Win7. We have lots of copies that will soon be worthless (and expensive to replace), unless we can get them to work on Win7. If anyone has gotten the two to coexist peacefully, while using Qdabra's ...

  • Re: DBXL search form

Thank you Jimmy. Your response works great. As you can see, I am 'developing' (more like modifying) a search routine that will alow us to search through our policies. Since there are a couple hundred of them, in 9 departments, it dawned on me that a simple listing would be more than a little cumbersome, if not almost ...

  • DBXL search form

Hello, I'm trying to modify a form we have. The form searches the DBXL, and returns the search results in a list view. Well anyway, I'm trying to change it to search a different part of the DBXL, but I don't understand how it all interacts. I've made a basic working model that is pretty rough, and the only real problem is that it ...

  • Re: Infopath 2003 and Windows 7 pro

It appears that there is a work-around for this problem, although not a great one, in my opinion, since it gives more money to Microsoft. I installed InfoPath 2007 and now the problem has disapeared! I was hoping to not have to go this route, and perhaps in the future there will be a fix for Windows 7 running InfoPath 2003. If ...

  • Re: Infopath 2003 and Windows 7 pro

Sounds great! But I'm not familiar with ADO, how would I check to see if Windows 7 has ADO installed? And how would I go about changing to a more up to date XML query?  Thanks for you help!

  • Infopath 2003 and Windows 7 pro

Hi, I'm new to the forums here. I have a workstation that is running windows 7 pro (not beta, not RC, not home. Windows 7 professional), and it is also running InfoPath 2003 and IE8 and connected to a windows domain. We are using qdabraDBXL connecting to a SQL source running on SQL 2005 under windows 2000 advanced ...
