Hi If you are looking at 3rd party PDF Converters aimed at InfoPath, then have a look at the Muhimbi PDF Converter for SharePoint or the generic Muhimbi PDF Converter Services. Allows the InfoPath View(s) to be selected and even converts attachments. Note that I have worked on this product, so consider me biased. Jeroen

It can convert InfoPath to PDF, Word and Excel from a SharePoint Designer and Nintex Workflow (including all attachments). You can then take this converted file and email it from your workflow. Sorry, just trying to help, it is a very popular product but not free I am afraid. The company name is clearly showing in my email address, but I will make it more clear in the future.

Please have a look at the PDF Converter for SharePoint. It has a lot of InfoPath specific features including Dynamic View Selection and the conversion of InfoPath attachments. It works without SharePoint as well. Update: Please note that I worked on this product so the usual disclaimers apply.

What is the problem with PDF 1.5? You'd need a third party tool or PDF Printer to convert to other versions of the PDF standard.
