  • Re: Using current() repeating table from data connection

    The form data source is a SharePoint list on SP2013. I created the list in SP first, then I created the Infopath form. The form is a browser form that opens when a user edits or creates a new a SP list item. I have tried using the Xpath in a calculated field and in a text box with a rule to set the value on form load. Either way I get the same ...

    I am still getting the same results. When I preview the form in Infopath, the text box is formatted correctly. When I publish to SharePoint, the formula only places the semicolon at the end. Both formulas you provided give the same results. InfoPath preview: 78;56;45 SharePoint view: 785645;

    Sure, here is the Xpath: xdMath:Eval(xdMath:Eval(xdXDocument:GetDOM("Workbaskets_US_Assignments")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW[d:US_x0023_ = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:ID], 'concat(d:New_x0020_Assignment_2, ";")'), "..")

    It is working now, thanks. But the semicolon is not placed between values, only at the end. It is showing this: 36589; But it should be showing this: 36;58;9

  • Using current() repeating table from data connection

    I am trying to extract data from a repeating table from a secondary data connection based on a filter from the main data source. Then concat that data in text box. My problem is around using current() (I think). When the field I am filtering by on the main data source is blank, the formula works (data populates from all the rows with blank ...

  • Re: Unable to correctly query value from SharePoint list

    I am using InfoPath 2010 with SharePoint 2013, but the query is not working. I just confirmed the same formula is working with SharePoint 2007. Any ideas why this is not working?

  • Unable to correctly query value from SharePoint list

    I have an InfoPath form that was correctly querying a SharePoint 2007 list to retrieve a value based on matching data from the main form and the SharePoint list. But now it is not working with SharePoint 2013 and only works if the match is on the first row of the SharePoint list. I want to get a value from the SharePoint list if 2 field values ...

  • Concat and Trim

    I am using the Contact Selector control to pull names from a SharePoint user list.  The names are populated as Doe, John K.  I have a concat formula in a text box to make the name appear as John K Doe.  My problem is the Contact Selector adds an unnecessary space after the name so my text box begins with a space in front ...

  • Submit and Close Email Form

    I have an infopath form that will be used for a training evaluation.  The form must be setup on one view and then is emailed via Outlook.  The data is submitted to an Access database on a server and everything works fine.  After the Submit button is clicked the form goes to another view which is a Thank You page.  When the ...
