I searched this forum thoroughly but did not find any specific answer to my somewhat subjective question. Is it Poor Practice to keep data connections in the DCL that have also been uploaded to Central Admin (i.e., why have files in two places)? Since we often make revisions to our form templates and others use (or may want to use) the same data ...

What would be the syntax then?  I'm not sure how to do this.

It is my understanding that in order to use the data connections in Central Admin, it is necessary to have them also in a Data Connection library in the site collection.  Is that correct and why is it necessary to have them in two locations?

Turns out I had extra spaces below the table.  Just had to delete them.

My form looks fine and table rows are adjusted properly.  The white space I am referring to is the white space below the table where there are no fields.  Someone suggested that I create a print view to control the height and I may try that.

I already have a table for layout.  It is just annoying having all that white space with the scrollbar.  Thanks.

I let the wizard create new columns.  The metadata is present when editing the document.

Thanks for the response.  It is set up correctly in the template.  When I open the form in InfoPath after it is submitted, and without the workflow, everything is fine.  But if I turn on the workflow, and then open up a submitted form, it displays the ID instead of the person's name.  Any ideas?
