It is my understanding that in order to use the data connections in Central Admin, it is necessary to have them also in a Data Connection library in the site collection. Is that correct and why is it necessary to have them in two locations?

Turns out I had extra spaces below the table. Just had to delete them.

My form looks fine and table rows are adjusted properly. The white space I am referring to is the white space below the table where there are no fields. Someone suggested that I create a print view to control the height and I may try that.

I already have a table for layout. It is just annoying having all that white space with the scrollbar. Thanks.

I let the wizard create new columns. The metadata is present when editing the document.

Thanks for the response. It is set up correctly in the template. When I open the form in InfoPath after it is submitted, and without the workflow, everything is fine. But if I turn on the workflow, and then open up a submitted form, it displays the ID instead of the person's name. Any ideas?
