    I have had this same problem in the past and usually setting an actual pixel width instead of 100% has helped tremendously. Right now, for some reason I'm having problems with 2 date fields. They are the only date picker fields in the form and both look horrible (lots of horizontal width) in an email. They do have a fixed with and I have ...

    It turns out that we may have a logic error in the form that has nothing to do with the email feature. I'll try to post a response here once I dig further. Sorry for the delay as I was waiting for my client's client to test some functionality to help us debug this issue.
