That is what I had original done but it is saying there is an error .. please see below             concat("CCSBO - ", max(@ID) + 1001, " - ", substring-after(now(), "T") What am I doing wrong?

I keep getting a error code Nan using the max function?  Using the count function when 2 people go in at the same time, it issues the same number?   Can you help?

Is there a way to substring the now() function to get just the time?

I appreciate your response but I need to be able to provide a Unique ID and have it display.  I tried max(@D) + 1001 but that comes back with a error NaN.  Count(@ID) + 1001 seems to be able to duplicate when 2 users create a new doc at the same time.  I would like to add Time but can't get the substring-after(now()) to pull ...

No - username + date is not unique enough as one user could enter many orders in one day.  Any other ideas?

New Issue .. I need to be able to have the system create a uniq ID number when the form is opened NOT at submit.  I tried the now() function but it looks pretty ugly.  I would like a sequential number system but dont' know how to set up.  Anything easy.

Thanks for the step by step .. I knew I was close and I knew it had to do with filter but I thought at the time I accessed for the name I had to keep the other data as well.  EXCELLENT !!!! Appreciate all of your help!

When the form opens .. I have a drop down for the user to pick the CCS Name .. how within the drop down box do I have it save the 3 fields of information from the secondary to the form and display in an Expression box?

Thanks for the response .. I have set up the 2 lists but don't understand the LAST step.  I have created a list CCSInfo with CCSName, CCSPhone, CCSEmail as the secondary.  I have the CCSName drop down pointing to the secondary list but how do I get it to fill the phone and email for the expression boxes automatically.
