  • Turn of and on views based on checkboxes

    I wanted to know if there is some sort of way to turn on views based on checkboxes?   What I want to do is allow the user to make some assumptions in the beginning as to what will be visible.  Once they select all the boxes then they can proceed to fill out the form.

    Can I filter based on what is displayed instead of the value?  If I change the value to Department then my field3 does not show the correct value which would be the Total Gross area of the department.

    That works perfectly.  I'm trying to accomplish that in the field2 drop down as well.  So far i've tried: not(my:field2 = current()/preceding-sibling::my:TOC/my:TOCgroup/my:group2/my:field2) not(my:field2 = current()/following-sibling::my:TOC/my:TOCgroup/my:group2/my:field2) not(my:Department = ...

     I believe that is the right direction but I can't seem to get it to work.  I'm not sure if I'm filtering on the correct data since all the previously selected Departments still show up.

  • Hide previously selected values

    How do force infopath drop down list box not to show previously selected items?  My drop down list can get quite long, sometimes it's hard for the user to determine if they've picked an item before.  I've seen posts on how to fix this but it doesn't seem to work for me.

  • Re: Drop Down Box

     Thanks for the quick reply.  I seemed to have solved it.  The pulldowns have calculations associated with them.  If the calculations equal to 0 this occurs.  I input some data so the calculation wouldn't be 0 and now the pulldowns work properly.  Strange, I will check to see if I have a rules or default values, ...

  • Drop Down Box

    I'm having an issue with my drop down boxes.  It has several choices, I pick my choice, it then defaults to one of the choices further down.  It won't stay on the one I picked.

  • Repeating Table Counting

    Well, since I've finished my first infopath form I wanted to see where it could actually help me in my day to day routines.  I have an excel spreadsheet of all my Mobile Devices for my office.  I have a few tabs and it calculates the number of Blackberry License that I have used.  It keeps track of Contracts End Dates and ...
