I do not believe that your advice applied though, although I did try the suggestion. My for is not installed via a browser and does not open in infopath, it is a web based form the opens in outlook. I went to add/remove programs and did not see it, I also opened infopath and did not see it ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by jmillman on 12-29-2008 Infopath form in a Sharepoint workflow - task in email opens up old form I have an infopath form that is part of a workflow. When a user is assigned a task, if they go to their task list and click on the task, my form shows up, which is good. When someone is assigned a task, they also get an email from Sharepoint. For some reason, if you click on the "Edit this Task" button in ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by jmillman on 12-24-2008 Re: infopath form with a three-state workflow Thanks a lot. I got this code working, but I have two quick questions. #1. How come when I go to Design Tasks->Data Sources, then select my receive connection, if I try to drag a column from onto my form, it puts it in a repeating section? I believe this is because it is possible that since I am pointing to a list, I could ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by jmillman on 11-28-2008 Re: how do you populate an infopath form in a workflow from the list, not the task? Thanks, so what would someone typically do when they have a form that two people are supposed to edit? I find it hard to believe that if I make an expense form the supervisor can only approve or reject a task. What happens if they want to make a simple edit? What happens if they want to add some other data? Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by jmillman on 11-07-2008 infopath form with a three-state workflow Is there a way to create an infopath form and use a combo box as the state in a three state workflow? Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by jmillman on 11-06-2008 Re: how do you populate an infopath form in a workflow from the list, not the task? Thanks, but is this really a good solution? If someone wanted different people to update the same infopath form, should they all be editing the same form? If I create a task and import the data, I will have to write the data back to the original list. If someone changes the original list, my task will not reflect the same data. ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by jmillman on 11-06-2008 How do I pass an infopath form around in a workflow, same form, same values, different steps Hi, I have a workflow where different people will fill out different parts of an infopath form, or change values (basically I just want the same infopath form to display with values filled in). I am writing my workflow in visual studio. I create a task and can pop up a similar form, and even fill in values from the original list, but ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by jmillman on 11-04-2008 how do you populate an infopath form in a workflow from the list, not the task? After a ton of research, and playing with infopath, I finally was able to populate some fields in an infopath form that is in a workflow using the ItemMetadata.xml file. Basically I have a list item, when you create it, a task is made. When you edit the task, my infopath form shows, and I can populate it with the task. How ...
