This is an examle of one that doesn't work anymore: Compromise Agreement for Employer2011-11-18T17_32_43. All the forms in the library are named using the same method. Posted to General (Forum) by JeniEck on 11-22-2011 'The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect' when trying to edit some existing forms I have a form library on Sharepoint where I save my forms. On certain forms, when I try the editing then save, I get the 'The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect' message. I can't see anything obviously wrong, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks George, I forgot to mention that this form was previously working fine and I have just discovered that the server has recently had its .net framework upgraded. Is this something that may cause this problem? I know that its only the one field on the form that is causing the problem (as if I publish the form without it it is fine). This is ... Hi, Sorry to start this up again, but I am getting a similar issue in that I have a drop down list that uses an xml file (created from another sharepoint list: http://.../admin/_vti_bin/owssvr.dll?Cmd=Display&List={F6B3160A-A870-4AD9-AAA1-07779C7F8CC7}&View={E420C6BE-F034-40F6-B0AC-18041AE8E0CF}&XMLDATA=TRUE). I ahve just been playing with the sql permissions, testing for one person, and Ihave to change their rights to sysadmin to get the form to retrieve results from the database. This can't be right, can it? Jen Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by JeniEck on 11-20-2009 Page 1 of 3 (22 items) 1 2 3 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
