Please drop a line if you do. Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by ACrush on 01-18-2010 Re: Using rules to modify repeating elements? Cool, thanks. But what if I required a button in for RepeatingGroup1 that would add or modify one of the children of RepeatingGroup2? Remove self? Code only? I mean, if I try to assign a value to my:RepeatingGroup2/my:Child then all the children receive this new value, not just one. Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by ACrush on 01-18-2010 Using rules to modify repeating elements? Hi, I tried to use rules to set a value of a subnode in a repeating group. Unfortunately, the rule sets values in all nodes of the nodeset selected by "//my:RepeatingGroup/my:Element" XPath. Is it at all possible to set an element in a single instance of the repeating group, e.g. "//my:RepeatingGroup[1]/my:Element" or something? Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by ACrush on 01-12-2010 Can I avoid custom code for creating nodeset from string? We can aggregate data from nodesets using eval() and rules. Can we do the opposite, can we parse a node or a few nodes to create a nodeset without code? Repeating elements? Posted to General (Forum) by ACrush on 01-12-2010 A rule hooked to datasource node doesn't perform any action Hi, I composed a simple test form with a ContactSelector control. I then hooked a rule on //my:Source/my:Contact/my:Person/my:AccountId to copy resolved contact DisplayName to the Text field on the same form, but it doesn't work. Can somebody please look at the attached template and advise on it? Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by ACrush on 01-12-2010 Re: How do you trace exception info in browser forms with managed code? Nice output. Thanks, I'll take a look at log4net for tracing. As for live debugging: Can someone hint at how to force catching Forms Services Exceptions in Visual Studio Debugger? Some languages like C (js is genetically close, but I'm not sure) require it to be escaped: "C:\\Feedback\\" Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ACrush on 12-21-2009 Re: Save/Export form to a computer's folder using a button Your path should contain the file name too. Say "C:\Feedback\"+node.Value+".xml". Just make sure you have the appropriate text value in the node and you know what you're doing when you overwrite existing files. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ACrush on 12-21-2009 Re: How do you trace exception info in browser forms with managed code? For better understanding of the question: the NullReferenceException appears in a form designed as browser-enabled and perfectly fuctional when filled in InfoPath (not in the browser). My suspicion is that I might have lost some state info during a postback... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by ACrush on 12-21-2009 How do you trace exception info in browser forms with managed code? Hi, Can you share your experience on what you can do to get more information about Exceptions? I mean those logged in ULS like 12/18/2009 16:26:51.95 w3wp.exe (0x1358) 0x1244 Forms ...
