Hi Clay,   Many thanks for the quick response!  I haven't actually tried it yet, I've been reading the help pages and read somewhere that it couldn't submit to a list, only publish the forms to a doc library.   I didn't want to spend hours getting to grips with the software again if it didn't do that one ...

I used Infopath 2003 and loved it for it's ability to save the data to a Sharepoint List as it made use of the data input by users and gave us a list we could manipulate into views etc. I have just downloaded 2007 and it appears that you can only EXTRACT from a sharepoint list but not submit to it??? Am I missing ...
