  • Re: Jscript Addition Operator

I tried it again this morning it returned the right result from what I did previously. Strange.  Thanks for the help. However that was just my quick fixed.  But what I really want is a convert a string to a number as for doc_version, the value is actually taken from a database which returns a number as a ...

  • Re: Jscript Addition Operator

Oh sorry it should have been request_doc_version.text initially - pasted the wrong code  However none of them work. For example...   XDocument.UI.Alert(request_doc_version.text + 1); // returns 21   XDocument.UI.Alert(parseInt(request_doc_version.text) + 1); // returns ...

  • Jscript Addition Operator

I'm trying to do something very simple - adding two numbers. However instead of "adding" it's concatenated instead. I have set my field to Whole Number (integer) and in my jscript code basically just add 1  function check_version() {  var request_doc_version = ...

  • Re: Workflow: Moving submitted forms into folders within Form Library

I don't think you understand what I'm trying to do. The filtering of the items (forms) can be done when forms are submitted, but you cannot have permissions on views.   I want a Workflow to organise the forms into folders - each folder has specific user groups assigned to them so they could only see their own folder not ...

  • Re: InfoPath Auto Exit

I had this problem before - but I think I gave up and decided to use the Rules instead of scripting.  If you have a button control on your form already just add a rule to Submit to where ever and then a rule for "Close the form"

  • InfoPath Unique ID Number

Hi all, This has been a big issue that I've been having for awhile and I'm sure heaps of people have come across this same situation before.   I have read a few threads regarding this issue: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/2197/19655.aspx http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/4742/18390.aspx#18390 Quite interesting but ...

  • Page break in an optional section

I have 2 views on my form.  A "Form View" and a "Print View". Form View has all optional sections that users can fill out.  I want my Print View to display only the optional sections that are related to the users.  Each optional section are on a separate page.  I did a conditional formatting on the ...
