Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by keeter on 02-01-2008 Error Handling Hello again, We are attempting to deploy InfoPath forms to a server that we have not been granted access to, so we have to add a bunch of debug logic. When attempting to run the forms that have been deployed we were gettin "not very graceful" errors. In an effort to make these errors a little more user friendly, we added ... On the Loading event of a form, we are getting data from a SQL database and popping it in the form... If data that the form is expecting, doesn't exist, the form throws an error (which we are gracefully catching.) What I would like to accomplish is to catch this error, and switch views to a "You are not authorized" sort of ... By default, Forms Server figures out by itself when to do a postback. ... Posted to Code (Forum) by keeter on 01-16-2008 Re: Help! How to accomplish multiple field validation! Thanks. I've gotten a similar (less complicated) method to work correctly in "preview" mode. However the _changed event doesn't get triggered when the field in question loses focus when the code is on Forms Server. Is there a way to force a _changed event when the code sits on Forms ... Posted to General (Forum) by keeter on 01-16-2008 Help! How to accomplish multiple field validation! Ok, first off this is somewhat complicated to explain. But I'll give it a shot. I'm develpoing a set of forms (each will behave the same, but have different fields.) On the forms there is a submit button. When the button is clicked, in the rules section of the button, we 1) Set a status field to submitted, 2) Switch ...
