I have used the method you describe in the past on a form with just a couple of checkboxes, and it does work, it just isn't very convenient. The form I am looking at has over 100 checkboxes, so it is going to be quite a bit of work to implement in this fashion. thanks for the idea though - ... Just wondering if you have found this to be consistent across all Windows 7 machines, or if it is just on Windows 7 tablets? (I don't have a non-tablet Windows 7 machine on which to test this) Thanks again for your assistance, and if you do manage to find a solution, I would love to hear it! I am using Infopath 2010 I have a form on which I have resized a checkbox so that it is easier to use on a Windows 7 tablet (touch screen) If I open the form on my XP machine (on which I am developing it), the form displays correctly, with the resized checkbox as expected. When I open the form on my Windows 7 tablet, the checkbox displays ... Posted to Code (Forum) by arduk on 01-10-2012 Code to validate a form? I have a form which is being used to collect data, but rather than being submitted, I am using c# code to run some SQL to update a database (the form is only being used in the infopath client) I have added data validation rules to the form, and prior to running the SQL, I would like to ensure that the data in the form has passed all validation ... I am aware that you can control this with a button, however even if you put a button on, this doesn't stop a user from using the Close button at the top right of the window instead of the button, which will then cause them to lose all of their data without being prompted to Save. Can anyone confirm that ... Posted to Code (Forum) by arduk on 08-19-2008 Close event in InfoPath 2007??? I'm sorry if this is a really simple question, but I can't seem to find how to implement an onclose event for an Infopath client form. I would expect this would be fired if a user closed the form (or the infopath client)? My problem is that I want to prompt users to save if the form is dirty and they exit Infopath (eg by using ... Ideally, I would like to turn off this message altogether - do you know if there is a way to do this? Thanks in advance for any assistance! That was the only way I could get it to work as well - I just thought that using pattern matching would have been a bit nicer, but apparently not?? Thanks again - I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out! Posted to General (Forum) by arduk on 06-22-2008 Pattern Matching Custom Pattern to check special chars Can anyone help me with the custom pattern that I need to enter in Infopath 2007 to ensure that users don't enter any characters that Sharepoint would see as invalid characters in a file name. I have a text field in infopath that I am using to rename a file stored in a sharepoint document library. I would like to ensure that users ...
