Thanks Posted to General (Forum) by thunderstorm on 12-11-2007 Re: After submitting form, hide submit button and have a button to save changes? Blah. Browser enabled forms seem to lose out on a lot of features, but unfortunately can't not have them browser enabled as not everyone that will use them has office 2007. Never mind! Thanks for your help :) Posted to General (Forum) by thunderstorm on 10-22-2007 Re: After submitting form, hide submit button and have a button to save changes? Hi, that would be awesome, except the tick box saying prompt user to save is greyed out and is unsupported- presmably because its a browser enabled form. That seems really naff, since you can do the initial save and you can get a save button on the toolbar all the time so why not a button you can sometimes hide?! Is there any other way? thanks ... Posted to General (Forum) by thunderstorm on 10-19-2007 After submitting form, hide submit button and have a button to save changes? Hi, I have a browser enabled form saving info from fields in a sharepoint library in various columns. After the form is filled out and submitted, someone needs to check the form, and may want to make changes. The save option on the toolbar works for this, but I want to be able to HIDE the submit button when the form is submitted and ... I noticed though that you can never really make the attachment control true 'read only' when viewing the form... theres always options to attach and remove. Surely people might want a proper read only version of the control- so they can just 'read' the document attached... I spent a while searching and can't find ... Hi I want to have my forms read only when they are viewed, but i also want users to be able to view /download the attachment. By making a read only view its also greyed out the attachment control.. Is there a way round this or will I now have to un check read only in view properties and make every single field read only apart from the ... Does this act just as a link at the bottom.. I think its an excel file that will be attached. Thanks. Stef Posted to Web Services (Forum) by thunderstorm on 10-11-2007 Adding attachments to form and storing them in a SP library? Hi, I posted this post in the Browser Forms forum and was advised to post my question here (original post at http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/6401/23603.aspx) I did do some searching of the forum on this and ended up a little confused. I am very new to InfoPath and XML, I have just set myself up a form library ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by thunderstorm on 10-10-2007 Re: Adding attachments to form and storing them in a SP library? So I would have the normal submit to save the form then an extra button to save the attachment? Does that mean you'd have to attach, then save it, then submit the form.. I had a look at the file attachment control and cant see anything about saving. Is there no way to just have the normal submit and then take the attachment and save it ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by thunderstorm on 10-10-2007 Re: Adding attachments to form and storing them in a SP library? Wouldn't that just save the form though and not the attachment? I already have the form saving somewhere OK but want to save the attachment somewhere else.. perhaps I've misunderstood you?! ;) Thanks Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by thunderstorm on 10-10-2007 Page 1 of 2 (11 items) 1 2 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
