 I have resolved the issue. The Submit data connections are only available in the DataAdapters in the OnSubmitRequest event. The suggested code is working fine.

In the end that was the solution. Deleted the event and recreated it. Then copied the code piece by piece in it. It worked fine afterwards. The even trigger in 2003 and 2007.  Thanks for your help.

I have a form which I build in 2007, but it is compatible with 2003. I have some code in the FormEvents_OnSwitchView event. This code is triggered if I run the form in Infopath 2003, but it is not triggered if I run the form in 2007.  Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Well, I have selected the Infopath 2003 Form template and it is still coming up with the error message. Any other suggestions???

I have created a template in Infopath 2007 and I set the save as option as 2003. I also put the Design Checker on to ensure that it is compatible, if it checks there are no warnings or messages.  Well here is the thing, as soon as I open it in Infopath 2003 it comes with the error: Form template: ...
