• Re: Raw HTML code showing in the Task Pane?
Ok, well I was obviously very confused about that. Doh! Well, what's the encoding on the HTML files? Are all users opening with the same locale setting? Does it work for anyone?
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" ...

  • Re: Raw HTML code showing in the Task Pane?

Yeah... I've been waiting on an answer for that one ... I have a local admin account but am unable to change it when logged in with admin rights. I tried changing the reg setting at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_MIME_SNIFFING] "iexplore.exe"=dword:00000001 to 1 (which MS ...

locale setting all the same. The only way I have been able to get the HTML to render properly is rather convoluted ... Once the msi has run and the form is installedI can open the form in design view and save a copy to say the desktop then change the security level under Tools > Form Options > Security and Trust > Security Level ...

  • Re: Raw HTML code showing in the Task Pane?

The form is installed locally. It is regestered and fully trusted. The issue is that the HTML documents which are Resource files in the form, no longer display properly in the Custom Task Pane. The pages are loaded into the CTP but are not rendered properly, only the raw HTML is displayed. This is occuring for all users running an combination of ...

  • Re: Raw HTML code showing in the Task Pane?

I'm now using Window 7 & IE 8. The option appears both in the Internet and Intranet Zones. I am able to change it in the Intranet Zone but not the Internet Zone. It is set to disabled and I am unable to set it to enabled.

  • Re: Raw HTML code showing in the Task Pane?

I kinda hate to resurect an old thread like this but .... This solution used to work but no longer works for me. For one I am unable to change this value in IE8 for the Internet Zone although it is there. The form I am working with is a URN Based Form originally created with InfoPath 2003 (worked in 2007 as well), full trust enabled, installed and ...

  • Re: How can one get the .xsn template path from URN based form? (JScript)

Here is a simple function I put together with a hard coded registry path. A few things to keep in mind about using this function. First the form it is used by has been installed on the users local machine and made fully trusted at install (via script generated by the RegForm tool found in the InfoPath 2003 SDK). Basically this registers the from ...

  • Re: How can one get the .xsn template path from URN based form? (JScript)

Agni, yep I was able to pull this off by creating a WScript.Shell ActiveXObject.  Presently I'm just hard coding the registry path but will later have to revisit this to search for the path as it will of course change depending on the version of MS Office the client is running. Thanks once more for your input it was more helpful ...

Agni,  First let me thank you for your reply. This has got me going in the right direction as I have now located where the path is being stored in the registry. Now I've just got to whip up some more code that will search for this key and return its value. Thanks again ... Nym

  • How can one get the .xsn template path from URN based form? (JScript)

I’m not sure if this is the correct area to post this question, but here goes.   I am working on an InfoPath form for which I have created an install to place the .xsn on the end user’s local machine. At install the form is made fully trusted (this is accomplished via the RegForm tool available in the SDK). Once the user has ...
