in my form i have an repeating section that cannot be left blank, ie. the repeating section should contain at least one entry. it doesnt let you submit the form with a blank field in the section, but you can remove all fields in the repeating section and still submit the form. is there any way to stop this happening? ...

Clay Fox: I think the easiest would be to do the check in the form itself when it is being attached.  I would have rules that check the attachment field and then notify the user via an alert box or whatever you need.    Well sure, thats exactly what I'd like to do. I don't think its possible to do that though ...

I need to extract the filename from an .xls attachment in a form and check it to see if it is valid for sharepoint. Is it possible to do this in JavaScript in the Script editor? Could anyone offer me any pointers please cos I havent got a clue how to do either part! thanks
