  • Re: How to launch new browser window upon form submit?

Hi Jason, I have not used browser enabled forms but if you have a managed code template in .NET you can call Process.Start(''IExplore.exe''); in the OnSubmit() event handler. This would require your template to be fully trusted though, I don't know if this fits your requirements. Stefan

  • Re: Digitally signing the form template

I have figured it out. The vsmacros included in the InfoPath SDK do not work under VS8 because the signcode tool has been renamed to signtool and it takes different arguments as parameters. To sign the form template use signtool.exe located in the bin folder of the VS SDK. Make sure you include the root certificate when signing or else end users ...

  • Re: Digitally signing the form template

Come on, I know this. The problem is how to get the certificate I have to show under Select certificate. I read an article that describes the process using the SignCode vsmacro included with the InfoPath SDK but it is for Visual Studio 2003 and so far I haven't been able to use it.

  • Digitally signing the form template

I have a managed code solution done in VS2005, C#.NET 2.0, InfoPath 2003 SP1. I need to sign the form template with a digital certificate and deploy it to the users. So far I have been unable to find information on how exactly to go about signing the template. I have a MS Authenticode certificate from a trusted root CA. Has anyone done ...

  • Re: Open attachments

Yes, The attachment is Base64 encoded in the xml, so you can decode it, save it to a file, and open it programatically. Info on encoding and header structure of the attachment: http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2004/03/18/92221.aspx Stefan

  • Re: CommandBars object and ObjectWrapper

Yes, I am using Reflection to invoke the object. That is actually the problem. Reflection seems not to work outside of the form code. I will post if I find a solution. Stefan

  • Re: CommandBars object and ObjectWrapper

Hi Matt, Yes I am using the exact same code and using statements. Here is the reason I am trying to do this outside of the FormCode: I have a C# Application that is used to pretty much control InfoPath (switch views, save, open, etc). I need a way to disable the toolbars, so the users only see a window that contains the form. Because, once ...

  • CommandBars object and ObjectWrapper

I am again faced with the issue of enabling/disabling InfoPath 2003 toolbars. In the MSDN Technical Articlehttp://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa192513(office.11).aspx there are examples of working with the CommandBars object using ObjectWrapper. Those examples work great from within my FormCode, but whenever I try to use the same technique ...

  • Re: Re-enable standard toolbars

So I should understand that there is NO way to disable toolbars for a specific form template without affecting the entire app?

  • Re: Re-enable standard toolbars

I know this will work but what if the user exits infopath without saving the form?
