We implemented this functionality for one of our forms by making webdav calls from inside of our form code (implemented in C#). If you'd like some sample code, just let me know.

This isn't the best solution, but if you physically move the form files out of the library and then back in again, it will trigger Sharepoint to extract the information from the form again and populate the columns in your views. If you have a lot of forms this could be a bit of a problem (i.e. slow) and of course this will change the last updated ...
