I guess the best way to describe what I want to do is simply say I want the Text in the text box Short Description to be the name of the form and does not give the option of changing the name after the first save. Hi Debodd and welcome. The answer to your question is yes, you can store the infromation in the form itself as long as you open a new template each time and SAVE AS a new name each time. I am doing this now for several Infopath 2003 forms at the company I work for. Good Luck

Good Morning: I need to link controls in a form. I have a drop down box that consist of Supervisor Names. I need to look a that dropdown box in another part of the form on another section and grant access to that section due to the persons name being on the list. How do I make this happen. Thanks Phillip
