  • Re: Include credentials in the SOAP Header?

Thanks Jim, I'll give this a try. Do you know if this is supported in InfoPath 2007 or if there are there any plans to add support for this in a later version? It seems like a pretty common thing (at least in the Web Services I've tried to use that require authentication) and having to build the web service request myself in Visual Studio in these ...

  • Include credentials in the SOAP Header?

Hi, I am trying to connect to a web service that requires me to pass the user's credentials in the SOAP Header as follows: <soap:Header> <Auth xmlns=''http://namespace.com''> <Username>username</Username> <Password>password</Password> </Auth> </soap:Header> Is there any way to do this in ...

  • Re: Hide Repeating section on form load

Also, try playing around with the default values in Tools-->Default Values. If you deselect the section it won't show a blank one by default, but you will still get the Insert Link.

  • Re: Submitting Infopath to sharepoint

I'm not sure I totally understand the problem, but it sounds like you are trying to make the dropdown list display the max value? The dropdown itself doesn't need to display the max value, it just stores the list so you can grab the max value and use it to calculate the next number. You want to make the default value of your formNumber field equal ...

  • Re: Submitting Infopath to sharepoint

I'm relatively new to InfoPath, but there might be another way to do this that doesn't involve code. I haven't tried it myself, but in theory I think it should work. ) Add a numeric field to the data source on your form to hold your sequential number (call it formNumber for example). ) Make formNumber available as a form library column ...

  • Re: Auto-create form templates for new SharePoint site

Patrick, thank you for the speedy reply! I do have some clarifications if you don't mind. We are currently using SP 2003 but are in the process of upgrading to 2007, so understanding the differences between the two will help me to decide whether to do this now or wait a bit for 2007 to be ready. For submitting to the correct subsite: Can you ...

  • Auto-create form templates for new SharePoint site

Hi, I have a problem I've been struggling with for some time that I'm hoping you can help with. Our company's projects are all standard, and each project always has to fill out the same forms that we have designed in InfoPath. When we launch a new project, it gets its own SharePoint site. What I would like to do is this: 1) When we create a new ...

Thanks for the reply! Actually, I had thought of that, but even with the \'s escaped I get the same error.
