I figured my xpath was off. When I ran into trouble deleting the rows based on empty fields I tried setting the field DeleteRow to the word "DELETE" and then using a rule to delete the specific row. Which works sort of, but based on order of operations for rules and code it ... I would like to delete all blank rows of a table using a button that is outside the table. I know the SetValue command can use a criterion filter, is it possible to do the same with the Delete command? What I am trying is this: Delete ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by Daniel_5584 on 12-21-2018 count(../preceding-sibling::my:[Node]) + 1 is throwing infinite loop error in browser So this is a bit of a strange one and I cannot seem to figure it out; I should preface that I'm fairly new to InfoPath. I have a form with a repeating table that is pulling data from a secondary source. In order to grab the appropriate data I have added a field called "counter" with the default value of: ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by Daniel_5584 on 09-21-2018 Re: Repeating Table from Secondary Data Source with additional fields from Main Data Source I found a solution to grabbing the data, based on what Hilary mentioned in her last post. It involves creating helper fields in the repeating table of the secondary data source. In the repeating table of the secondary data source create duplicate fields for all of the columns of your data and call them M[FieldName] or whatever makes the most ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Daniel_5584 on 05-30-2018 Re: Repeating Table from Secondary Data Source with additional fields from Main Data Source I was afraid of that. It is frustrating since I know the data is there, but I just don't know how to get to it. Coding would make it so simple, but I am not allowed to use custom code on the forms. I will play around with merging the promoted data and will report back if I find anything useful. Thank you for your time. This gets filled out by the user and then submitted to a SharePoint form library. Depending on what the needs are, different documents may be created using the data from the CCR form. Credit memo is one, RGA another, and CAPA is the third. I am attempting to use the ID field from the CCR form as a ... Each belongs to its own SharePoint Library, if that makes a difference. Changing to IE did the trick. I seem to only be able to attach one file to a post. The one attached to this post is my main data source. I will attach the secondary data source in my next post. To answer your question regarding the XPath, this is the XPath of the ... I am attempting to pull field data from a repeating table in a secondary data source to populate a repeating table in my main data source. My secondary data source is a SharePoint InfoPath form library. I am not able to use code as my site does not allow it. I am trying to use default data and ...
