  • Linking script variables with fields in InfoPath forms using Visual Studio Tools for Applications

I'm working on infopath forms that will be used through sharepoint.  Because the forms will be web based, I'm having to use visual studio tools for applications (VSTA).  I transferred my code from an existing form with the object code developed in vbscript and found out that the linkage would not work i.e.  txtUId = ...

  • Printing multiple page form with same "header"info

I was wondering if there was a way to print a form in infopath that can contain multiple pages with "headers".  (i.e. I have a requisition, I'm using an expandable table to contain all the items.  If the number of items exceeds the size of the page, can infopath put the remaining items on a new page with the same "top ...

  • How to format data in text box.

I am in the process of getting familiar with Infopath.  We are migrating from another form generator.  My question is, How can you format data entered into a text field.  For example: you have a SSN field (i.e. 999-99-9999).  In other automated forms, the user can just type the numbers and the numbers will be placed in their ...

  • Re: Printing Repeating Tables

Yes, That's it exactly. What I'm trying to figure out is on the ''entry view'', have the user enter their data on the ''entry repating table''. Then when the user goes to print the form, the print view would allow for the first 3 ''rows'' print on the first page, and then if there are any more ''rows'', then open up another repeating table and ...

  • Re: Printing Repeating Tables

Another Question. It doesn't matter about the number of entries on the main view. Is there a way to take the data from the entry view repeating table and seperate it into two separate tables (i.e. the first 3 entries to put on the first page, and the rest on a separate page). The first table would be fixed and the second one could be repeating.

  • Printing Repeating Tables

We are currently converting our forms into InfoPath. I have run in to a situation where we have a form that needs to be printed out in a specific way. In designing this form in InfoPath, I see where using a repeating table would be beneficial. However, the way the print view of the form has to be, there is only room on the form for the first 3 ...

  • Need Help with Set Command in vbscript

Could someone please explain the xdocument set command in vbscript? Here's an example: Set txtOrg_By = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//my:txtOrg_By'') I want to make sure that I understand this statement and it's context for use so that I can apply it properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Re: Using Set command in vbscript

mbenbow - thanks for your reply, I see where it helps. I have another question. Do you have to execute PopFieldValue any time you need to change the value from the script? We're linking the form from an SQL table so we do a lot of updating of fields through the script (object code) This would not be much of a problem on small forms but it ...
