Recently I upgraded to IE8 RC1 and since then any dropdown in any InfoPath document I open is super tall. Yeah, I know....it's weird. The drop down works, but it spreads from head to foot of my screen and displays the selected value above the top of ... Posted to General (Forum) by skrile on 06-03-2009 Re: script.js not showing up in Script Editor Well, the script.js is part of an InfoPath 2003 document - as such, I don't have direct access to the file. As I understand it, it's wrapped up in the .xsn file. I didn't "add" it to begin with. Posted to General (Forum) by skrile on 01-30-2009 script.js not showing up in Script Editor Wonder if this has happened to anyone else. I have been scripting in InfoPath for a while and was telling a co-worker some stuff. He started to try some of the techniques, but a weird thing is happening. When he opens the script editor (either by looking at the Form Load events, or Edit Form Code... from a button) the Script ... Posted to General (Forum) by skrile on 01-28-2009 Re: Programmatically changing Dropdown values Thanks for the reply Greg. My problem here is that I have value pairs like (green/1, red/2, blue/3). After messing about with changing these values programmatically - one based on the other - I finally gave up and went a different route. Now, I have radio buttons (there were only three choices anyway) and put labels next to the ... However, I'm a bit confused about the "code" that could be written to add/remove/update elements. Do you have an example? Posted to Greg Collins (Weblog) by skrile on 07-19-2007 Programmatically changing Dropdown values Well, in my quest for a fully translated InfoPath form, I've come upon another scenario that I need a little guidance with. I have a dropdown on my form called <visit_type>. This drop down has Four static values in it (it's not wired to a database or Sharepoint list). I have another drop down on my page ... Posted to Code (Forum) by skrile on 07-19-2007 Re: Looping through Data Source nodes Genius. Here is all the code, and it works great. I'll always have an English translation, but may be missing some other. This way, at least the English will always be dispalyed.//When loading the document, set all the labels to the default language id choice (english) function XDocument::OnLoad(eventObj) { var ... Posted to Code (Forum) by skrile on 07-17-2007 Re: Looping through Data Source nodes OK, I found the issue. I named my stringIDs on my Sharepoint list things like 'user_username' and 'user_emailaddress'. oNode.nodeName was returning 'my:user_username' etc. I used the string.replace("my:","") function and all is well. However, I was wondering. Is there a way ... Posted to Code (Forum) by skrile on 07-17-2007 Re: Looping through Data Source nodes So, now I'm trying to use that information to refresh all the data in those nodes by values stored in another data set. The complete code is: function XDocument::OnLoad(eventObj) { var objTranslation = XDocument.DataObjects("ThirdPartyEvent_Translations").DOM; ...
