  • Error tells me to remove the URN

    I have a set of fully trusted forms with a certificate. They are being published to a local location "C:\Forms". Note this is intentional as we have a service that updates the forms to PCs to this location within our internal network. When I double click on the template, I get the following error: The updated form template is ...

  • Update Publish location via command line (non-sharepoint)

    We have a service that automatically uploads xsn templates to user's PCs from the server. Therefore, we manually publish the xsn files to a local location first so xmls always reference the xsn on their machine e.g., c:\Program files\Customer Order Tool\BoxOrder.xsn So everytime someone from our team makes a change to the form, we ...

  • Programatically change conditional formatting

    In InfoPath 2007, can you change the conditional format of a repeating or optional section using C# i.e., toggle from hide/unhide?   I understand xdextension allows someone to view the rule condition but can you actually change it    Thanks,

  • href updating and multiple publishings (challenge)

    Here's the scenario. I currently publish an xsn as "C:\Forms\Shipping Order.xsn".  I place this file into two non-Sharepoint locations for two sets of users. The form is stored in location A as "Shipping Form.xsn". The problem is Location B stores the files and places in underscores in the name i.e., ...

  • Re: Error flag to appear on all controls in repeating section

      Thanks. Its actually kinda challenging for me live by it.  The default of ZeroValue in the old form was 0. In this new form, I tried 0 and other values like 2. In this unique case, using code is not an option due to various legitimate reasons.   But I found a solution! I needed a global sum element/attribute. Let's say ...

  • Error flag to appear on all controls in repeating section

     Let's say I have a repeating group called FruitBasket and an element called Apples under it. I would like to set up a data validation where if the sum of all apples in all the repeating sections > 10, then flag. I tried setting up the following expression: sum(/my:FruitBasket/my:Apples) > 10 However, it flags only on the input ...

  • DataAdapters["..."].Submit(); works in 2003 but not in 2007

     Hi! I created an .xsn form in IP 2003. I have the submit button using custom code for various reasons. When the user clicks the submit button, they can either submit or cancel. Below is the jscript code I used. function XDocument::OnSubmitRequest(eventObj) {     eventObj.ReturnStatus = true;    ...

  • Re: Old forms referencing old Drop Down values

    The xml form does update with the new selection of "Apples" and "Grapes". However, the orange selection is still stored in its xml. It doesn't remove it. I'm sure this is now an uncommon issue as its basically updating a pull down. What does eveyone else do when their pull down values have to be changed? How do you ...

  • Old forms referencing old Drop Down values

    Lets say you have a drop down "Fruit" that has the choices "Apples", "Oranges" and the standard blank a.k.a. Select...A user creates and saves an xml form where Fruit is set to "Orange". Now, lets say I change the XSN so the choices become "Apples" and "Grapes". When the user reopens ...
