Posted to General (Forum) by mindea on 02-20-2019 Opening InfoPath web form from URL in Excel I have a table in Excel with a column of text containing URLs to various InfoPath .xml documents in a SharePoint library. If I copy a given URL from Excel to the clipboard and paste it into a browser, it opens the desired InfoPath form. If I click on the same URL in Excel, it activates the browser window and prompts me to download the .xml file. ... (THANK YOU) Your explanation makes some sense, tho it's a bit beyond my InfoPath experience. I wonder if the SQL connections got hosed up because I was experimenting with the SQL Max function along with some Group By. In any case, should this happen again I'm not sure I can follow ... As I say, I've been banging away on this for several hours. The sample I sent you is the result of trying many different iterations. This one is the simplest. [pulling my hair out!] Posted to General (Forum) by mindea on 02-07-2019 Re: Cannot Set a field's value using data source I'm still stuck on this. Can anyone suggest how I might troubleshoot this issue? Posted to General (Forum) by mindea on 02-05-2019 Re: Cannot Set a field's value using data source I've attached a copy of the form here. Posted to General (Forum) by mindea on 02-04-2019 Cannot Set a field's value using data source I've been banging my head on this one for HOURS. Here's where I'm at right now. I can populate a calculated field using a formula with a data source with some filters applied. No problem. But when I try to use a button's rules to "Set a field's value" using the same data source and same filters, I get "Some ... Many thanks! Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by mindea on 04-17-2018 Search column in repeating table for text Hi, all. Seems like this should be easy, but I've searched quite a bit and can't find an answer. I have an Infopath 2013 web form with a repeating table. One of the columns is called ItemKey. When a user submits the form, I'd like to search all rows of ItemKey, and if any one of them contain a value the starts with ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by mindea on 04-16-2018 Re: Validation based on value in repeating table Wow. Thanks, Hilary. After I posted the question I continued to work on it for several more hours and finally cobbled together this formula: contains(xdMath:Eval(xdMath:Eval(../my:ProductGroup/my:Item, 'concat(my:Reason, ";")'), ".."), "Other") Your way is much easier. I never noticed that dropdown list ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by mindea on 03-16-2018 Page 1 of 2 (16 items) 1 2 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
